Step: 1 Visit MCA official website by clicking this link.
Step: 2 Click on third FAQ (Downloading and Installing the Web Socket Installer) & click on “DSC Registration” link & Emsigner software will be automatically downloaded.
Step: 3 Extract the file & install the software by proceeding to next & finish.
Step: 4 Restart the computer.
Step: 5 Allow access to java window pop-up, if any appears on your screen.
Step: 6 Upon restart the computer, small pop-up should appear as emSigner service started successfully. Click on ok & continue to the next process.
(2) Certificate Installation Guide
ID Sign Certificate/Driver Installation in 3 simple steps:
Step: 1 Visit the ID Sign official website, click here.
Step: 2 Download the IDSign CA Root Chain 2014 (CA Certificate Chain) file in the 4th row of 1st table.
Step: 3 Once the file is downloaded, extract it & install all the drivers/certificates in it, named as below.
- CCA India 2014
- ID Sign CA 2014
- ID Sign subCA for Consumers 2014
Capricorn Certificate/Driver Installation in 3 simple steps:
Step: 1 Visit the Capricorn website by clicking on the link.
Step: 2 Download both the certificates from the table mentioned on right hand side as ROOT CA/ CA in the Capricorn website.

- CCA India 2014
Step: 3 Install both the certificates one after the another & continue to the next process.
(3) Utility Installation Guide
mToken Utility Installation in 7 simple steps:
Step: 1 Click on My Computer & CD Drive (F): CryptoID_Setup
Step: 2 Run the same & proceed with the next and finish buttons.
Step: 3 Find the shortcut icon ‘CryptoID Certificate Utility’ on desktop.
Step: 4 Double click such shortcut utility on desktop (or) search by name in Start programmes & click such utility.
Step: 5 After opening the mToken window, click on the icon named user & insert default password as 12345678 to login.
Step:6 Upon login, click on the name of the applicant & view the certificate.
Step: 7 The certificate information should look like below picture to conclude the process as successful.
Note: Instead, if the certificate information shown as windows doesn’t not have enough information to verify this certificate. Then there is an error in the installation process. Hence, repeat the process again from beginning.
